| The name or term "Turbo Cycle" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Turbo Cycle (disambiguation). |
- The Off-Road Cycle is an Action Master vehicle from the toyline portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Off-Road Cycle (also known as a Turbo Cycle) is Axer's Action Master vehicle, a custom-built motorcycle armed with quadriphonic sonic blasters, a magnetic-lock targeting destabilizer rifle, and heat-seeking proton missile batteries. It can transform into a battle station, revealing dual photon cannons.[1]
When Axer went to another dimension, he didn't ride a "turbo cycle," but rather he transformed into one instead. While this alt-mode doesn't look like its namesake, it does bear much of the same weaponry.[2]

- Off-Road Cycle with Axer (Action Blaster Vehicle, 1990)
- Accessories: Sidecar, "magnetic-lock targeting destabilizer rifle", 2 missiles, seat-back/shield
- Known designers: Masakatsu Saito (concept artist)
- Part of the first (and only) assortment of The Transformers "Action Master Blaster Vehicles", Axer's Off-Road Cycle is a rugged-looking "hawg" with a left-mounted sidecar that seats any normal Action Master figure, though there is enough room in the back end to seat a second rather un-securely right behind the pilot. The sidecar's side panel also flips down to reveal a footpeg, allowing another figure to ride along. In this mode, the two missiles attach to the front wheel's left side, while the hand-cannon mounts on the right side of the bike's main body.
- The cycle transforms into a twin-cannoned field artillery piece, with the bike's exhaust pipes flipping forward via spring-loaded trigger to form the cannon barrels. The two missiles can be plugged into the ends of the cannons. The seat cover can also detach and form a small shield any Action Master figure can use.
- This set came with the Action Master figure Axer.
Notes
[edit]- In all forms of fiction (bios, comics) this vehicle is called a "Turbo Cycle," but in descriptions of the toy (packaging, instructions, catalog) it's called an "Off-Road Cycle." We have chosen the latter as this article's title to distinguish it from the "Turbo Cycle" that Action Master Prowl rides.
Foreign names

- Italian: Super Moto ("Super Motorcycle")
