Peter Chung (정근식, Jeong Geun-Sik, born April 19, 1961 in Seoul, South Korea) is an Korean-American animator. After immigrating to the United States, he studied animation at CalArts and began his career working at Dominic LoPiccolo's animation studio. After having worked on a number of animated series including The Transformers, C.O.P.S., Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Rugrats, the latter of which had animated the show's opening titles, he rose to fame as the creator of animated series Æon Flux for MTV. His subsequent work has included character design on Phantom 2040, the Animatrix short "Matriculated" and the film Firebreather.
