Buzz Dixon (born December 7, 1953) is an American writer best known for his work on the G.I. Joe cartoon, though he also worked on other Marvel/Sunbow projects for Hasbro properties, including My Little Pony, Inhumanoids, Jem & the Holograms and of course Transformers, specifically the Generation 1 cartoon. Dixon created Hector Ramirez, a character that he inserted into several of the above cartoons, thereby—he claims—uniting them into one universe.
