If there was a Right Entertainment, there surely would have been a Left Entertainment.

Right Entertainment was Entertainment Rights' home video division who released several VHS and DVD collections of Transformers: Armada in the UK from 2003 until 2008 with distributor Universal.

Releases

[edit]
  • 8201327 (VHS) and 9021122 (DVD) - Transformers: Armada — Vol:01 (March 24, 2003)
Contains the first 3 episodes: "First Encounter", "Metamorphosis" and "Base". The VHS release contains trailers for other Right Entertainment releases and a short commercial for the toyline. The VHS version's true bonus was the fact it came in a double-wide case to accomodate the inclusion of one Mini-Con figure at random from either the Air Defence, Land Military or Street Action Teams. The DVD release contains two extras; a 15-question trivia quiz and video sequences of the transformation sequences and battles. The packaging lists them as "Transformers Armada Quest", "Total Transforms" and "Battle Mania".
  • 8201703 (VHS) and 8201829 (DVD) - Transformers: Armada — Vol:02 (September 15, 2003)
Contains episodes 4-7: "Comrade", "Soldier", "Jungle" and "Carnival" (listed as a "Bonus Episode"). As with Volume 1, the VHS contains trailers for other Right Entertainment releases and a short commercial for the toyline. The DVD release contains two extras; fact files on the main Autobots, Decepticons and Minicons, and a DVD game called "Mini-Con Tag".
  • 8225928 (DVD) - Transformers: Armada — Vol:03 (April 4, 2005)
Contains episodes 8-10: "Palace", "Confrontation" and "Underground". The only extra is a trailer for other Right Entertainment releases, before the feature/menu. For whatever reason, Right took their sweet precious time releasing this one, I mean, half a year after Volume 2!
  • 8234216 (DVD) - Transformers: Armada — Triple Collection (May 2, 2005)
A boxset containing the first three volumes in a slip box.
  • 8235238 - Transformers: Armada — Vol:04 (August 1, 2005)
The first volume from Right that was not released on VHS. Contains episodes 11-13: "Ruin", "Prehistory" and "Swoop".
  • 8250680 - Transformers: Armada — The Collector's Edition (July 23, 2007)
Released to coincide with (and a few days before) the UK release of the live-action film, this 2-disc set contains a random assortment of twelve episodes from episodes 21-52. Disc 1 contains: "Decisive Battle", "Tactician", "Past", "Past II", "Threaten", Crisis. Disc 2 contains: "Miracle", "Dash", "Cramp", "Union", "Origin" and "Mortal Combat". The DVD also includes a reversible cover sleeve featuring the same artwork as the front on both sides (obviously without any logos or anything worthy like that), an art card depicting an "Armada" version of the "Protect-Destroy" poster from the live-action movie illustrated by Eamon O'Donoghue (also containing information about him), and PDF scripts of the included episodes as DVD-ROM content on Disc 2.
  • Transformers: Armada — Bumper Double DVD Collection (February 25, 2008)
A Re-release of volumes 1 and 2 in "Carry Case" packaging.
