The Nova Power Plant is an installation housing the Nova Power Core, an immense source of energy.
Fiction

[edit]Intending to raid Iron Mountain, Megatron first took the Insecticons to Nova Power Plant. The Autobots, warned of the impending attack, arrived at the same time, but were kept busy by the Decepticons while the Insecticons broke in and devoured the Nova Power Core. Once the power from the core made the Insecticons grow in size, they began plotting to overthrow Megatron, but were overhead by Soundwave, forcing them to take control of the Decepticon using a cerebro-shell.
Wheeljack and Ironhide attempted to climb the pylons flanking the main station, but were zapped by the Insecticons, forcing the Autobots to retreat with their wounded. Victorious, the Decepticons left for Iron Mountain. Unfortunately for them, it later turned out that the Nova Power Core would cause the Insecticons to explode. The Insecticon Syndrome
