A compression cannon is a weapon that takes normally harmless air and brings it under pressure, then fires it with enough force to shatter steel, or crush a target.

Dreamwave Generation One continuity
[edit]Beastbox carried two compression cannons that fired ultra-concentrated air pressure. Beastbox's More than Meets the Eye profile These were also known as air cannons. - The Transformers Beastbox came with two chromed compression cannons, as identified in his packaging bio, which can be attached to his ape mode.
- He was only available in a two-pack with Squawktalk; available in the Hasbro line at standard retail and as a mail-away item by Takara during the Super-God Masterforce series.

- Scoop (Targetmaster, 1988)
