The name or term "Darkwing" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Darkwing (disambiguation).
Darkwing is a Transformer from One.
Suck Energon, evildoer!

Tasked with maximizing the productivity of the Cogless miners under his supervision by any means necessary, Darkwing keeps Iacon's energon flowing by heaping insults, humiliations, and casual violence upon his subordinates. He really hates being upstaged by the miners he looks down upon, and has a tendency to hold a grudge. While outwardly nasty and vindictive, Darkwing secretly fears the possibility that someone else might force him to suffer the same indignities he inflicts upon others. [1]

Voice actor: Isaac C. Singleton, Jr. (English), Tetsu Inada (Japanese), Sebastian Llapur (Latin-American Spanish), Salvador Reyes (Latin-American Spanish, second trailer), Oriol Rafel (Spain Spanish), Francesco De Francesco (Italian), Jean-Paul Pitolin (European French), Tilo Schmitz (German), Taras Tsymbalyuk (Ukrainian), Robert Jarociński (Polish), Yo-han Park (Korean), Ricardo Rossatto (Brazilian Portuguese)

Following a sudden cave-in during a mining operation, Darkwing blamed Elita-1 for the accident, stating she was fired. Orion Pax attempted to take responsibility, pointing out that Elita shouldn't be punished for what was ultimately his fault, but was ignored, and Elita was demoted to waste management. Orion told off the brute, but Darkwing was having none of it and threw a punch at Orion. D-16 caught Darkwing's punch and attempted to smooth things over, only to earn a punch of his own from the larger bot.

"MINEEEERS! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME! I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF CYBERTROOOOOON!"

Darkwing later participated in the Iacon 5000 race. Seeing the same two cogless miners from before in the race as well, he blew past them in his vehicle mode, the impact damaging their jet packs. He soon made it to third place, but abruptly found himself used as a jumping pad for those very miners, which caused him to spin out and crash into the track despite his yell of rage. Though Sentinel Prime himself commended Orion and D-16 and promised them lush rewards for their efforts in the race, a furious Darkwing had other ideas. Appearing before the duo seconds after Sentinel left, he threw Orion and D-16 into sub-level 50 of waste management despite their loud protests and flew off with a snide comment, promising he'd keep them there for the rest of their lives.

Later, under orders from Sentinel, Darkwing attempted to force the miners to work their 23rd straight shift, ready to browbeat Ironhide when he protested against the punishing work schedule. However, he was interrupted before he could act on his threats by a newly cog-equipped and empowered Orion Pax. Orion promptly knocked Darkwing out cold and threw him into a video game machine, leaving him buried under a pile of coins flowing from the broken machine. One
