Synopsis
Recovering from the ambush, Lightlong asks Optimus if Megatron was the friend he was talking about earlier, to which the Autobot leader confirms, albeit feeling something was not right with Megatron. Brushing aside Optimus' questions about what he's doing, Megatron then attacks Optimus again with another fireball attack, prompting him to jump, but the Decepticon leader takes notice and also leaps into the air before dropkicking Optimus into another part of the woods, boasting about the power of Elemental Energy.
Lightlong incredulously asks if Flame Megatron was the bot Optimus Prime came to find. Optimus confirms the claim but notes that something seems wrong with him. Flame Megatron had expected Optimus to dodge his Jurassic Vol Flare and declares he's here to test the newfound power he's obtained, attacking the duo once again by firing a Volca Burning. Flame Megatron is pleased that Optimus is able to dodge this attack as well, and leaps into the air after him before striking Optimus with a devastating kick that launches him deeper into the forest.

Lightlong comes to the Autobot Leader's aid, and gives some exposition: the weird arm Megatron had on is Captain Volca, the leader of the Dinosaur Tribe, one of two tribes the Energy Beasts have organized themselves into (the other being the Animal Tribe), with mutually respected boundaries. When Lightlong questions Volca about what he's doing in the Animal Tribe, the T-rex nonchalantly declares the territorial boundaries are no more, with henchman Leafback even saying that Megatron will lead the Dinosaur Tribe into ruling the planet.
Optimus Prime wonders if this can possibly be the Megatron he knows as Lightlong comes to help him up. The Energy Beast tells Optimus that that the dinosaur acting as Megatron's right arm is Captain Volca of the Dinosaur Tribe. He explains that, on Elementros, the Energy Beasts have separated themselves into two distinct tribes, Animal and Dinosaur. These two tribes live apart and are meant respect a rule that forbids one tribe from encroaching on the other's territory. Lightlong demands to know why Volca is violating this rule by entering Animal Tribe land, and Volca exclaims that the territory split no longer matters. Volca's fellow tribesman Leafback arrives and agrees, telling Lightlong and Optimus that Flame Megatron has come to lead the Dinosaur Tribe and conquer the planet. Optimus asks Flame Megatron if this is really what he's after, who reveals his wish to go beyond ruling the planet by gathering Elementros's Element Energy to become the the most powerful being in the universe.

With Megatron hellbent on becoming the strongest at the cost of the innocent, Optimus fights his former friend, able to mostly hold his own until Captain Volca sends him flying once more, this time with Lightlong being there to stop him from crashing again. The giraffe then has an idea: if Optimus was the hero of legend who descended from the sky, they can perform Wildocking, further confirmed by Optimus' chest popping open to reveal internal workings similar to Megatron's.
Determined to protect the planet's inhabitants from Flame Megatron's ambition, Optimus Prime declares he has to stop his former friend but is unable to able to overcome his newfound power. Volca belittles Optimus's strength and declares once more that Megatron will lead his tribe to greatness as he strikes Optimus again and again, sending him flying back as Lightlong leaps to intercept him. Lightlong believes Optimus is the hero who came from the sky, and says that if he is then he will be able to use Wildocking, just as Megatron and Volca have done. Lightlong is sure that the brief friendship the two have shared will be enough to allow them to Wildock, and says that doing so will allow Optimus to harness Element Energy of his own. Enraged, Volca orders Leafback to attack the two and stop them but Lightlong quickly Wildocks with Optimus, granting him the lightning Element Energy and naming their new form Lightning Optimus. Their new strength easily sends Leafback flying away with a single blow, leaving Optimus stunned at the power Element Energy contains.

An irritated Volca sics Leafback at the duo, but Lightlong and Optimus manage to pull off the Wildocking process, turning the latter into Lightning Optimus, who easily sends Leafback flying far away and paralyzed as Optimus marvels at the power of the phenomenon.

Optimus asks Flame Megatron if this is really what he's after, who reveals his wish to go beyond ruling the planet by gathering Elementros's Element Energy to become the the most powerful being in the universe.
