The Earthforce and Terrorcons discover that they're not the only ones on the island...

Synopsis

[edit]

Part 1

[edit]

The Earthforce searches endlessly through the snow for the fortress, with Blaster noticing null space on the airways indicating that there is a shielded conversation taking place on the comms, which means others are present. Tricerashot suggests they let them destroy the portal if that's truly their goal, but Overload argues that they can't take that chance (and also wants to start shooting at someone). Skids suggests Blaster start looking for escape pods, and while he does, Armada Scavenger informs them of the existence of other weapons they had in reserve to face the Entity. Unfortunately, exactly which weapons those were was information restricted to a need-to-know circle neither he nor Overload were part of. Blaster finds something, and they get searching.

Part 2

[edit]

Tiptop questions Armada Wheeljack's conclusion that the Earthforce is there to destroy the Cyber-City fragment, with Breakdown Prime pointing out that they may be after more Mini-Cons. Demolishor brushes off their concerns, reminding them of the task at the hand. Wheeljack comes up with a plan to split up, taking part of their group with him to deal with the Autobots while Demolishor and the others work on finding and destroying Cyber-City. Wheeljack's team begins following the transponder signals of the local escape pods as he explains that each one can enhance the power of another bot, but certain groups of them can also be grouped together for even more power.

Gameplay

[edit]

This event was an Alliance event, meaning players were to unlock points with their Alliance, all of which went towards unlocking various prizes. The top prize was a Gmetal XP Core, and after unlocking that, players could continuing playing for up to 1500000 more points to take advantage of the event's usual XP boost for winning battles.

Notes

[edit]

Transformers references

[edit]
  • Wheeljack's revelation that Mini-Cons are "living, plug-in power cells" echoes their depiction in the Armada franchise, where bots could increase their power by Powerlinking with Mini-Cons. (This is no surprise, of course, as all other aspects of Mini-Cons' depiction in this game thus far have been pulled directly from Armada.)

Errors

[edit]
  • The word "'Cons" is mistakenly written with a lowercase c.
