Captain Volca

Captain Volca is an Energy Beast from Wild King.

He's got a little Captain in him.

Captain Volca (キャプテンヴォルカ Kyaputen Voruka) is leader of the Dinosaur Tribe on Elementros, backing up his might with the desire to seek strength and winning above all else. He also possesses knowledge of a legend passed down among the dinosaurs, and perhaps the strong and charismatic Megatron of another planet is key to that legend...

Possessing Flame Energy that grants power over fire, Captain Volca is an Energy Beast that can undergo wildocking with an Energy Master.

At some point, during Megatron's exploration of Elementros, he ran into Volca and performed Wildocking with the Decepticon leader into Flame Megatron. They ambushed Optimus Prime and Lightlong On to Elementros! and easily curb-stomped the former until the latter performed Wildocking with the Autobot leader into Lightning Optimus, which succeeded despite Volca siccing his henchman Leafback on them both as he was quickly defeatedThe Power of Bonds! Wildocking!, and Volca and Megatron's advantage quickly disappeared as Lightning Optimus quickly proved to be a match for them both, until Megatron called upon Leafback to further combine with them into Flame-Grass Megatron, who seemingly vaporized Lightning Optimus. The Hero Who Descends from the Sky! Still Wildocked to Megatron's right arm, Captain Volca welcomed Spirituan to their team after the latter was abducted by a mysterious force. Part of the first wave of Wild King product, Captain Volca transforms into a robotic Tyrannosaurus rex. He lacks a conventional melee weapon, though his removable dino-tail could be used as a huge club, if you like. He does have a fire-themed "Flame Energy" breastplate, which can be detached and re-attached to one of the four ports on the chest of the Energy Master torso, forming part of a large elemental "X".

He can also transform into an arm or a leg extension for any Energy Master toy.

He shares several "core" parts with other Energy Beasts: he has the same torso and thighs as the other Energy Beasts, shares biceps with Lightlong, and leg parts with Spirituan.

Part of the second wave of TakaraTomy's Wild King W product, Captain Volca (Aqua ver.) is a redeco of his original toy, still transforming into a robotic Tyrannosaurus rex and retaining all of the original toy's functionality.

But as the new name indicates, he's now in a water-themed predominantly-blue deco, and now comes with an "Aqua Energy" breastplate instead of the original's "Flame Energy" breastplate.
