Fusion is a dedicated and selfless soldier, willing to make any sacrifice to protect his friends or the success of a mission. His vehicle mode, designed for combat, is not particularly fast.

Fusion appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

[edit]- The story "And There Shall Come...a Leader!" lifted designs and sometimes even swiped art from the first issue of the comic, apparently to maintain a consistent look for Cybertron. Fusion is based on Optimus Prime's infamous collection-of-shapes vehicle mode from that issue, though attempts by artist John Stokes to make said collection of shapes make sense result in Fusion looking like some kind of backwards-driving jeep.
