Las Bogus is a desert resort located not far from Sherman Dam. It is composed mostly of hotel-casinos and is thus a popular tourist destination. It's also entirely dependent on the output of the dam for power.

[edit]Once the Decepticons had mined Sherman Dam with pulsar bombs, Megatron broadcast his demands to nearby Las Bogus. The people in the casinos, including Kelly, watched Megatron's transmission on the huge television screens and assumed it was part of a show. To Megatron's dismay, both Scourge and Sky-Byte failed to detonate the explosions, provoking a tantrum from the Predacon leader.
