Notes

[edit]
  • While no other stories were released under the Evolutions banner, Infestation 2 acts as a sequel to the Hearts of Steel story. Subsequently in 2017, a version of Hearts of Steel was retconned into being part of the main 2005 IDW continuity via Revolutionaries #5, establishing its characters as unwitting fakes of the actual G1 characters in part of a larger conspiracy.
  • IDW would later return to the alternate-universe concept with the Transformers: Deviations one-shot in 2016.
