Fusion appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

Fusion is based on Optimus Prime's infamous collection-of-shapes vehicle mode from that issue, though attempts by artist John Stokes to make said collection of shapes make sense result in Fusion looking like some kind of backwards-driving jeep.
