When Dr. Arkeville was electrocuted by a Decepticon security system, Starscream had him repaired by medicroids. Arkeville was horrified to see that most of his body had become mechanized, and moreover that he was unable to move except via a mobile chair. Starscream apologized for the medicroids' "crude work" but implied that it had been necessary to save his life. However, it is possible that the medicroids did not do the job as well as they could have: When Starscream had ordered Arkeville taken to repair bay, he also said "the doctor must not have a chance to interfere again."
