2005 IDW continuity
[edit]Regalis V lay only a stone's throw from Salvvatan VIII, and was composed entirely of colossal, phosphorescent plants sprouting from a single gigantic seed at the very center of the world. Following their encounter with Sixshot and Metroplex on Salvvatan VIII, Spotlight: Metroplex the surviving Throttlebots crash-landed on one of the gigantic plants, permanently marooning them. With no way to get off-world, Searchlight nicknamed the planet "Botanica".
Unaware that the war had ended, the Throttlebots spent ten years marooned on the planet, synthesizing an energon substitute by boiling the local plants while worrying that the Decepticons had won the war. One evening, they were attacked by a pack of beast mode Transformers, who killed Searchlight, and nearly killed Rollbar, Chase, and Goldbug. They were saved by Prowl, Wheelie, Garnak, and Stardrive, who had followed the beastformers to the planet. The Dead Come Home, Part 1
