Little Iacon is a Micromaster shantytown that grew on the outskirts of Iacon itself in the days before the Great Shutdown. As a location that Micromasters can congregate away from the concerns of the Guzzlers, it prided itself on faction-neutrality and offered sanctuary from scavengers and cannibals such as the Insecticons. However, the return of the Micromasters Skystalker and Countdown drew the neutral settlement once more into the Great War.

[edit]

Little Iacon began as an enclave where the newly born Micromasters could acclimatise to life on Cybertron, while receiving training from Autobots and Decepticons alike. When the shaky truce fell apart, Little Iacon went through what was later called "the Meltdown Riots", as both sides swooped in to grab Micromasters up for their cause. Destined for Nothing

Afterwards, the town remained, still populated by Micromasters as a faction-neutral zone where the disaffected Cybertronians could get away from a war they didn't care about. Official policy was that the city was a gun free zone (hint hint). After one disastrous mission which resulted in the death of their friend Crunch, the Hot Rod Patrol and the Race Track Patrol both struck out for Little Iacon, despite an attack of Insecticons on the way. The Gray Race Unbeknownst to the Decepticon Micromasters, Shockwave had planted a tracer on them, in the hopes of locating Countdown and his hidden base, which led the Insecticons to Little Iacon. Despite a spirited attempt by the Micromasters to fight back, they were overpowered, and the Decepticon Micros were given the choice of going back to Decepticon HQ or else, while the Autobot Micromasters were just taken prisoner.
