Mando paper is a higher-quality stock paper on which the original Marvel Comics four-issue Transformers limited series was printed. Previously, comics were printed on cheaper newsprint-grade paper, but in the Eighties, Marvel began switching its titles to Mando paper, which was less acidic, whiter, and sturdier.
