[edit]Along with Darklight and Umbra, Backbite invaded the Chamber of the Ancients in Iacon, just as Optronix accepted the Matrix of Leadership and became Optimus Prime. Backbite was the first to fall, briefly sparring with Grimlock and Bumblebee before being gunned down and killed by Kup and Hound. The War Within #1
