"I want to reach out / And touch the flame / Where the streets have no name."

Steve Bono is a designer at Hasbro. From an early age, Bono had wanted to work in toy design, a dream spurred by his interaction with an employee of then-future Hasbro subsidiary Kenner. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, Bono had previously worked on Kenner's (now a Hasbro subsidiary) Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Total Justice and Jurassic Park III (most of them with Aaron Archer). He has also worked on Hasbro's G.I. Joe Sigma Six, the Star Wars and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull toy lines.

In the world of Transformers, Bono inherited duties on the Alternators franchise from senior designer Mark McCall. After his time on Transformers, he became head of design for Hasbro's international Action Man line and worked on the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra toyline. He presently runs his own independent design studio.
