It's a remake of the classic Generation 2 commercial!

Synopsis

[edit]

Optimus Prime drives across a deserted landscape and transforms, then encounters Ramjet who does the same. They trade shots to little effect, and Ramjet pushes Prime into a rock, but then Prime grabs him by the head and shoves him to the ground. Victorious, he fires a few rounds into the air.

Notes

[edit]
  • It's an advertisement for BotCon 2010, if you couldn't tell.
  • It's also a remake of the opening sequence of the Generation 2 cartoon. Said opening sequence was essentially identical to a commercial for the Generation 2 comic, with a spiel about the Cybernet Space Cube added to the end; this video emulates Victor Caroli's commercial narration, rather than the bombastic narrator of the cartoon.
  • When originally put up, the video concluded with "Redux" being mis-pronounced as "re-doo". A few days later, it was replaced with a corrected version (that's "re-ducks", if you didn't know).
