When [[Cy-Kill (GoBots)|Cy-Kill]] and [[Leader-1 (GoBots)|Leader-1]] assembled a [[GoBots (G1)|coalition expedition team]] to infiltrate the Cybertronians' universe, the GoBots were modified to blend in with the local 'bots. Herr Fiend contributed to the modification designs, such as the inclusion of FTL drives and [[Astro-Beam]] tech. He also intended to mask the Gobotronians with false Cybertronian energy signatures, but everyone from [[Silverbolt (TransTech)|Silverbolt]] to [[Crystal Widow]] seemed able to see past his modifications. {{storylink|Withered Hope}}
