The Hyperborea is one of the four ancient starships sent off from Cybertron to explore the galaxy and create a massive space bridge network. Its crew eventually landed on the world that became known as the Jungle Planet.
Fiction

[edit]The Hyperborea was buried beneath the surface of Jungle Planet where Scourge's temple would eventually be built. When Galvatron commanded the black hole to cause chaos on the Jungle Planet, Optimus Prime sent the Ogygia to evacuate the citizens. The chaotic atmosphere created by the black hole collapsed the boarding ramp stranding Scourge, Snarl and Backstop on their doomed homeworld. Scourge's bravery in the face of seeming death however somehow reawakened the Hyperborea from its slumber and allowed the trio to escape.
