Following Flash's sudden disappearance, Scorch and the other Turbomasters learned from Perceptor that their teammate had been drawn through the Interfacer, but the scientist was unable to deal with the situation at the moment. {{storylink|The Age of Wrath Pt.4}} They set about mucking around with Perceptor's Assembly by themselves, and inadvertently returned Optimus Prime to Cybertron in their efforts to retrieve Flash. {{storylink|The Age of Wrath Pt.5}} Flash returned as well, but was damaged beyond repair by the time his team found him. He didn't much like it when the youngsters mouthed off at him and acted like they were charge, like [[Rapido]] did after a lost battle with [[Clench (G1)|Clench]]'s [[Decepticon Syndicate]] at the [[Large Hadron Collider]]. They planned a counterattack on the Decepticon-held facility, during which Scorch and [[Aquafend]] led most of the forces in a frontal assault while Streetwise, Rapido, and [[Meanstreak (G2)|Meanstreak]] infiltrated the building. They didn't do well, causing Scorch to consider a retreat, but he regained his spirit once [[Go-Bot (G2)|Go-Bot]] reinforcements arrived and helped him fight [[Double Punch (G1)|Double Punch]]. Scorch (aka the Turbomaster or Singe) is the Turbomasters' rear guard and has proven himself one of Optimus Prime's most trusted soldiers. An old soul, he's a loyal and self-sacrificing sort; brave to the point of recklessness, but tough enough to take the resulting knocks. He's not terribly familiar with Earth, and begrudges having to depend on the planet's relatively younger Transformers to help him acclimate.

After the conquest of Cybertron by Megatron and the Aerospace Extermination Squadron, Scorch and the rest of the Turbomasters evaded capture and participated in the Autobot underground resistance. The Age of Wrath Pt.2 Perceptor briefed the Turbomasters in the Think-Tank about the attempt to locate the missing Optimus Prime. When Perceptor left them alone, however, the Turbomasters partook in a game of tear'n'chase. Flash evaded his pursuing team-mates, but accidentally drove into the Dimensional Interface Assembly, sending him somewhere very far from home... The Age of Wrath Pt.3

The Age of Wrath ceased publication before the story could conclude. The following would have taken place in unpublished issues.

His vehicle mode resembles a Jeep Hurricane concept car, with a modified front section that avoids the trademark Jeep look with round headlights and vertical grille vents. He includes a (non-firing) rocket launcher that can be wielded in both vehicle and robot modes. Ravage can fit (in tape form) on the back of Turbomaster's vehicle mode. Other Mini-Cassette Transformers can fit there too, though not as well as the Ravage.

Part of the first normal wave of Micro-Changer Kreons, Singe is a blindpacked-bagged mini-figure, though a stamped ID number can be found on the back of the bag, top-right corner. He comes with extra parts which turn him into a kinda-sorta-off-road vehicle with rear-mounted thrusters. Though his colors are based on his BotCon toy, what littel chest detailing he has is taken directly from his original toy.
He uses Starscream's helmet.
