[edit]The Decepticons possessed several Super Blasters, which Optimus Prime considered planet killers. It was a bad idea to use them around radioactive material. Or, probably, at all, seeing as they never do seemed to use them.
The very idea of them being used prompted Backstreet to negotiate a ceasefire and then shoot the Decepticons dead once they'd agreed. God. The Energon Trap
