This article is about the orange bat from Animated. For the Action Master partner from Generation 1, see Wingthing (G1).
Wingthing is a Decepticon from the Animated continuity family.
Sing us a song, you're the pianobat.

Before Soundwave created Laserbeak and Ratbat, he started with prototypes culled from Sumdac Systems technology. Wingthing was one of these prototypes. Though she and her fellow prototypes were not a successful attempt at machine life, Soundwave nevertheless released them into Detroit, sowing chaos.

She screams. A lot. Like, it's psychologically impossible for her not to.

Fun to be around.
