Nautilator's potent triple crusher cannon can crush even the toughest of alloys into a compact ball, and almost makes up for his clutzy performance. But for whatever reason, Piranacon isn't happy with mangling his victims into a ball, so he has Nautilator's Triple Crusher Cannon somehow turn into a heat-seeking torpedo cannon in Targetmaster mode. Nautilator probably blames Piranacon for not pulling the trigger correctly, or leaving the non-existent safety on when he jams.

Toys
[edit]The Transformers
[edit]- Accessories: triple crusher cannon, left & right lobster claws, tripod rifle, connector, weapon stand base
- The Transformers Nautilator could combine with his triple crusher cannon to form a third Targetmaster mode described as a "heat-seeking torpedo cannon" in his packaging bio.
- This toy was concurrently sold in Takara's Super-God Masterforce line as Lobclaw. It was reissued as part of the Transformers (2010) toyline in a Decepticon Piranacon multi-pack.
Notes
[edit]
- Nautilator's AtoZ profile in the Marvel UK 1989 Transformers annual completely omits any mention of his third mode for some reason, instead the torpedo cannon is described as just another weapon at his disposal.
- When Nautilator was redecoed and reissued in the Timelines toyline as part of an exclusive Transformers Collectors' Club Piranaking giftset, his bio card described his Targetmaster mode as having been upgraded to a Coral Cannon.
