Decepticon fuel stores are facilities on Cybertron from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Spread across the Decepticon-controlled majority of Cybertron are fuel stores, where energy in various forms is gathered to be prepared for distribution to the faction's numerous strongholds. A large portion of the workers are captured and enslaved Neutrals, who do the dirty and heavy work while the Decepticons are generally either guards or administrative workers.

Events from the UK-only comic stories are in italics.

With the return of Optimus Prime to Cybertron, the Autobot resistance movement gained a boost of confidence. In the following five days, Optimus Prime led the Wreckers on raids on various Decepticon fuel stores. The Triple Changer Octane was at work at the fifth targeted fuel store, Transference Station Two, located in Polyhex, when the Autobots attacked. He got out relatively well, but the Autobots freed the slaves and took the fuel store's energon cubes with them. Octane reported this event to Lord Straxus in the Polyhex stronghold, who was everything but pleased with how the war was going.

Optimus Prime knew what his presence meant to the Autobots on Cybertron, he also knew that he was much more needed on Earth. However, his hands were tied as long as Megatron remained on Cybertron, so he organized a fake raid on another fuel store to distract the Decepticons' security forces from the Polyhex stronghold. Resurrection!

A few years later, the addition of the Pretenderized Bumblebee, Jazz and Grimlock to the Autobot troops on Cybertron had a similar effect on their faction's esprit de corps. They too led their comrades on many worthwhile raids on Decepticon fuel (and ammunition) stores. After the eighth raid in eight orns, Decepticon leader Thunderwing had irradiated fuel planted in some of the fuel stores so that when the Autobots would come to steal it, their hidden base would be a cinch to find.
