Mayville was quite taken aback when a new transfer student, Jan Minakaze, turned up for his first day accompanied by two Autobots. She was even more so when Star Saber picked her up in his hands to introduce himself to her. She and the Autobot leader talked over the paperwork while Jan attended his first class. The presence of the Autobots provoked a Decepticon attack, with Leozack and the Dinoforce damaging the school considerably. Mayville began an evacuation of the school. The other students were quick to blame Jan for the attack, but Mayville and Illumina convinced them that the boy was not responsible for the Decepticon threat.
