Death Towers (デスタワー Desu Tawā) are Decepticon installations on Earth made from the vaunted crysmagnetal. They draw energy from the Earth's core, converting it into electromagnetic radiation.

[edit]As part of a plot to destroy Earth and harness the resulting plasma energy, Scorponok had five Death Towers emerge from the ground on Earth. Two emerged in Canberra, Australia, and Santiago, Chile; the Autobots went to investigate at both sites, resulting in short battles with the Decepticon combiners that were guarding them.
