It seemed to be working until [[Prowl (G1)|Prowl]] showed up and called Side Burn by name. Since the real survivor's name was [[Dion]], the ladies became less interested. Reminding Side Burn that it was a felony offence to impersonate an Elite Guardsman, Prowl dragged Side Burn away to his real duties elsewhere at the [[Autobot High Council Citadel]]. | Side Burn was absent from Optimus Prime's mission briefing. When asked about his absence, Prowl believed he knew where he was. It turned out, he was sneaking around the Elite Guard and watching them prepare for an oncoming battle. {{storylink|Battle Lines, Part 2}} [[Magnum]]'s team found him claiming to know where [[Deathsaurus (Victory)|Deathsaurus]]'s base was, however when they were promptly fired on by Deathsaurus's troops, he claimed it still counted as him finding them. Side Burn took part in the ensuing battle, grabbing [[Blast Off (G1)|Blast Off]], however he was distracted at a critical moment when the Decepticons pulled out their trump card: a sword-wielding [[Lyzack]].
