The name or term "Master" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Master (disambiguation).
Master is an Autobot Headmaster from the Robotmasters portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Master (マスター Masutā) forms the head to Zebres, who forms the head to the colossal Autobot Base.

Which of these robots is in control (or even sentient at all) is unknown.

Robotmasters

[edit]
  • Cybertron Base (Contest prize, 2004)
Robotmasters Master came only with Cybertron Base, who was First Prize in a Robotmasters contest where only 10 were awarded. As Cybertron Base is completely identical to the retail-release Car Robots Brave Maximus toy, Master is identical to the Plasma robot. A redeco of Generation 1 Spike, Master transforms to the head module to Zebres, but does not need to be attached to allow Zebres to form Base's head.
This mold was also used to make Gran. The run of this mold from the Encore reissue of Fortress Maximus was also retooled into BotCon 2014 Olin Zarak.

Notes

[edit]
  • Master and Zebres were inexplicably introduced in 2004 as new names for the Plasma and Brave toys. It would not be until the Legends comic in 2017 that any explanation was given for their existence, or even that the names represented separate characters.
