Slow Poke of the Monster Truck Patrol can always be counted on to follow orders to the letter... though he'll complain about it the entire time. He's bitter and ornery to the core, but not once has he let it stop him from carrying out a mission. This unwillingness to stop in the face of adversity is normally a positive, but he takes it too far... he'll keep at a losing proposition long after more reasonable 'bots would have changed tactics, even if he's taking damage (and complaining about that) the entire time.[1]

- Released in the seventh and final year of the original Transformers toyline in the US (sixth and non-final in Europe), Micromaster Slow Poke is a tiny robot that transforms into a tiny somewhat generalized 1940s truck, possibly based on an REO Speed Wagon, with oversized "monster truck" tires and a tow-hook arm mounted on the back.
- Slow Poke is gang-molded with his teammate Big Hauler, sharing the same plastic colors.
- He was only available in a Micromaster four-pack with his teammates Big Hauler, Heavy Tread, and Hydraulic.
