The Dogslave was one of the many who were enslaved by the joint forces of the Decepticons and the Beastformers under command of [[Alligatron]]. He was put to work in the factory complex on a component for a [[Transtector|mysterious machine]], but the long days and maltreatment were more than he could handle. While transporting some goods, he collapsed. The foreman, [[Drillfrog]], insulted and whipped him, but neither overrode his inability to continue. At that point, the [[Autobot]] [[Wheelie (G1)|Wheelie]], also a prisoner of the evil Beastformers, jumped up and headbutted Drillfrog away from the slave. Coincidentally, the other Autobots launched an attack on the factory complex a moment later, distracting the guards and giving the prisoners and slaves a chance to escape. The "Dogslave", aka "Old Prisoner" (老囚人 Rō Shūjin), is an inhabitant of planet Beast. He had a good life on the idyllic planet until it was turned into a warzone when the Decepticons arrived.
