[edit]After surviving the destruction of Cybertron, Galvatron somehow came in possession of the UFO and used it to observe the Decepticons in his absence.

After Mars was destroyed, the UFO made its presence known by flying low at Athenia, which Daniel Witwicky and Wheelie observed. The Autobots were unsure what to make of the mysterious ship, pondering if the Decepticons or aliens were responsible for it. The UFO next appeared when Scorponok battled Battleship Maximus. The large Decepticon was distracted by the glowing object, which allowed the Autobots to flee. The UFO headed to Earth's Decepticon Base, where it abducted Sixshot. Inside the ship, Sixshot was confronted with his Emperor, who he believed long-dead.
Inspired by his UFO sighting, Daniel attempted to communicate with the "aliens" with an electronic musical machine, being inspired by a film he saw. As the party behind the UFO was very uninterested in Daniel's sound-making, the boy's tries at establishing contact were in vain.
The UFO finally revealed its occupant when it entered a battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons near Moon Stadium. Sixshot first emerged from the blob, then the blob visually reformed itself into a physical ship and beamed out Galvatron.
When all was said and done, Daniel became upset at the revelation that the "aliens" he was trying to contact were actually Galvatron and threw his music-making device to the ground, destroying it. Return of the Immortal Emperor
