The name or term "Guzzle" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Guzzle (disambiguation).
Guzzle is an Autobot from the Dark of the Moon portion of the movie continuity family.
Awfully wasp-waisted for someone who eats so much.

Guzzle has quite an appetite. Back on Cybertron, he was capable of consuming Energon much quicker than any of his buddies. Unfortunately, Earth doesn't have such an abundant source of the stuff, so he's forced to find alternative sources of power. • Autobot Guzzle (Cyberverse Commander Class, 2011)
  • Series: 1
  • Number: 009
  • Japanese ID number: CV24
  • Accessories: Cannon A, Cannon B
  • Known designers: Joe Kyde (Hasbro), Hisao Nishimoto (TakaraTomy)
Part of the fourth wave of Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Commander single-pack toys, Autobot Guzzle is a near Scout-class-scale figure that transforms into an M1 Abrams tank. He has "C-313" tampographed on the sides, a reference to the ID number of Hardspark, the Japanese toy that shared the same mold as the original Guzzle.
He comes with two different cannons, which look like a machine gun and a missile launcher, respectively. The missile launcher can be transformed and combined with the machine gun to form a small "Battle Rifle". His hands allow him to grip his weapons as well as interact with various Cyberverse play-sets and accessories. Additionally, in an unintentional design fluke, he is also capable of fairly securely holding 5mm posts with his hands, with the wider grip near his fingertips allowing him to hold the post in a dainty-looking manner.
The nature of the turret forming his forearms means that the turret is unable to rotate, making the swivels the actual cannon uses to tilt up and rotate only useful in robot mode.

Notes

[edit]
  • Aside from the familiar blue face and yellow torso, Guzzle takes several design cues from artist Nick Roche's rendition of the original Guzzle in Last Stand of the Wreckers, with the biggest specific detail being the angled cylinders to each side of his head, a feature seen only in that version of the character.
