Virtually every page features reworkings or straight-up cut-and-pastings of art from previous pages (or even the same page!), and that's on top of Lee's usual less-than-ideal capabilities in basic storytelling, character proportions, and generally staying on-model. The Air Defense Team then breaks free of Megatron's control, separates, and attacks him, forcing a retreat. After the battle, though, they and the Land Military Team leave to carry on the fight in their own way. Optimus Prime notes that even without them, their respect still gives them an edge over the Decepticons.
On page 4, Demolishor's name is misspelled "Demolisher".
Lee oddly draws a lot of characters as lacking the missiles that are usually present in their launchers. Wreckage, Knock Out, Bonecrusher, Demolishor, and even Red Alert's gun-hand are all sporting empty barrels in many scenes.
On page 17, the panels set in Lincoln feature a bright blue sky, when all other pages present the weather as dark and cloudy.
Also on page 17 in the first panel, Lee draws Demolishor with Cyclonus' rotor on his back. Wha?
Again, on page 17, Hot Shot's visor is mis-colored yellow like the rest of the helmet.
Not that this wiki is ever particularly kind to Pat Lee, but this issue (and to a slightly-lesser extent, last issue) comprises some of the most slipshod and rushed work he's ever put his name on, if he even drew it himself in the first place! Virtually every page features reworkings or straight-up cut-and-pastings of art from previous pages (or even the same page!), and that's on top of Lee's usual less-than-ideal capabilities in basic storytelling, character proportions, and generally staying on-model. Simon Furman even once commented on how little actual "original" art was on the penciled pages he had seen before these issues had been completed.
