Notes

• For some reason, the on-screen subs for the cartoon's opening transliterates all the English words into katakana while the CD's lyric sheet uses a mix of Japanese and English text. Since these are both official media, that's also what we've done here.
• This title sequence uses completely original animation and features no recycled footage from the show.
  • To say that this intro has little to do with the actual show would be an understatement. Some characters with small roles within the series as a whole get lots of exposure in the video, while more prominent ones are only briefly seen, and one particularly important character is completely absent. Rather than focusing on Detroit, the intro seems to jump all over the globe, such as Ratchet, Prowl and Bumblebee in front of the Flatiron Building in New York City, Bulkhead on the Great Wall of China, Blitzwing in Egypt, Ironhide in Sydney, Starscream and Bumblebee fighting in Paris, Lockdown fighting Prowl in Osaka, Japan, Lugnut wreaking havoc at Moscow, and Megatron appearing in Washington, D.C.
  • Optimus Prime seems to power up with burning spirit, and for some reason, a strange, evil character appears at the beginning of the video.
  • For those who have not seen the show, the intro spoils a lot of things, including Blackarachnia's relation to Elita-1, Starscream's embedded AllSpark shard, his clones, Omega Supreme's appearance, Blackarachnia's control of the Dinobots and even Longarm's betrayal, as Ratchet fights him rather than Shockwave.
• The opening animation was done by Barnum Studio.
• During the bridge after the phrase 'Get and Go', a chant going "Defeat Decepticon!" can be heard.
  • A variant of this song exists where the "Defeat Decepticon" chant near the end of the song is replaced with "Defeat Destron", the common Japanese name for the Decepticons.
• A second and slightly modified version of the title sequence debuts in the episode "Headmaster, Once Again!" using the second half of the song.
• In the final episode "The Final Decisive Battle! Suppress Megatron", the dubbing cast sings over the first version.
• A newly recorded version of the song, titled "TRANSFORMERS EVO. -2015-", was released as part of the STRONG BEST ALBUM MOTTO! MOTTO!! -2015- album on September 9, 2015.
