Unable to believe Muldoon's request was even possible, Edison threw him out. As Muldoon was leaving the building, he was approached by Tesla, who had grown tired of Edison taking the credit for his work, and had a way of achieving what Muldoon wanted. "Strange Visitors" establishes that events identical to those of Hearts of Steel and Infestation 2 occur in the 2005 IDW continuity; however, they happened to Maximal explorers brainwashed by Shockwave into believing they were the Autobots and Decepticons of the Great War.
