Soundwave shot him off the obelisk in-between, but this did not stop the Seeker at all. During his battle with Sideswipe and to a lesser extent Ironhide, Demolishor moved into Buenos Aires with the specific intent to create as much carnage as possible. The battle made its way to Avenida Nueve de Julio, where Demolishor demolished the obelisk with one well-aimed swipe. In the end, the Decepticon was not stopped by the two Autobots, but by their comrades, the Argentine Air Force, and the United States military's arrival and attacks that forced him to retreat.
