Kris Oprisko (born 1950) is one of the four founders of IDW Publishing. He was the Director of Creative Services at Wildstorm prior to the founding of IDW. At the latter company, he has worked as a writer and editor on many titles including CVO, CSI, Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid. His work has also included developing and/or adapting card games for Upper Deck. He left IDW in 2012 and now runs Gomek Covap, a company in the fields of IP development and comic writing and art.
