The TakaraTomy version of the Mini-Con Assault Team, part of the fourteenth wave of Japanese Generations toys, is noticeably shinier, casting their plastics in darker, metallic shades, and featuring numerous additional silver paint details, among other deco changes. Their stock photography erroneously depicts them being cast in the same glossy, non-metallic plastic as the Hasbro version.
