  • Volcanicon (Micro-Changer Combiner, 2014)
    • Set number: A7828
    • Pieces: 74
    • Accessories: 2 blade-weapons
Farside can be rebuilt from robot mode into a beastie along the lines of something from the anklyosaurid group of dinosaurs, or possibly a stegosaurid. Or just a generic spiky monster-thing. It's kind of hard to tell, but it's an armored mofo. The toy is armed with a pair of "bat'leth" blade-weapons from the Kre-O Star Trek line in both modes.
Farside was only available as part of the Volcanicon Micro-Changer Combiner set, along with Liftoff, Lugmutt, and Power Surge. This wave of combiners was available only at Toys"R"Us stores in the U.S.
The toy uses the same kind of Tyrannosaurus-themed helmet as Trypticon.
