Backstop was one of the many fatalities of Squadron X in their and the Wreckers' many skirmishes. Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur, 2014/04/21

As with a number of Wreckers in Wings continuity, Backstop's name is recycled from fellow Hasbro brand G.I. Joe, though "Backstop" has also seen use in Transformers media.
