Discovery Family is a cable television network in the United States owned by a joint venture of Warner Bros. Discovery and Hasbro. It began broadcasting October 13, 2014, as the successor to Hub Network.
Discovery Family continued to be the American outlet for Transformers: Rescue Bots and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, carrying over from Hub Network, with Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy subsequently premiering on the network in late 2018. These and other Hasbro and third-party cartoons (including The Transformers) only air during daytime hours, as the nighttime line-up features only live-action documentary and reality programming from the Discovery library.
As of May 2022, Discovery Family now operates under the Cartoon Network Group division of Warner Bros. Discovery itself.
