When the Tidal Wave entered the pitch-black region of space known as the Demon's Maw, Thunderlane reassured the crew that Ferrocious's radar sense would detect the eldritch space monster rumored to live there before it reached the ship. To pass the time in the Maw, he shared stories of former crew members, and exciting exploits of previous Cannonballs. When the Maw creature approached the Tidal Wave, Ferrocious did indeed alert the crew to its presence. Nevertheless, the monster managed to take a couple of bites out of the ship, making a meal of Thunderlane and his pet. Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur

  • Budora (August 31, 2013)
    • ID number: G08
    • Accessories: Grapple launcher, 2 shoulder weapons
Budora and his launcher were repurposed as Thunderlane and Ferrocious.
Part of the fourth wave of Go! toys, Budora is a redeco and retool of Prime: Beast Hunters Voyager Class Grimwing, with new beast and robot mode heads. He transforms into an ursagryph, and comes with a bird-headed grapple launcher which can launch the claw missile in its mouth via pressure-launch, with the missile being tied to the launcher with a length of string. Both the launcher and his missile can mount/be held by Budora via 5 mm post, with Budora featuring ports on his hands, forearms, and back. Additionally, the U-shaped parts on his shoulders are separate pieces that can be pulled out to be used as weapons held via their 5mm handles, a feature which is actually called out in the instructions for this version of the mold, unlike other versions.
Budora's instructions show a differently tooled set of wings than what is on the production figure, where the figure in the instructions features more dramatic feather lengths, and transitions between each are more dramatic.
The original version of this mold was used to make Predacons Rising Darksteel.
