Come sail away, come sail away...
  • Snarl & Sludge (Deluxe 2-pack, 2003)
A redeco of the Beast Wars Neo Predacon Sling, Sludge transforms into an organic Dimetrodon. His beast mode back-sail opens up to form a spring-loaded trap, also usable as a shield for robot mode.
Scratching off the tampographed Autobot symbol placed on his spark crystal reveals a crystal with the Beast Machines Dinobot symbol.
He was available only in a Walmart exclusive two-pack with Snarl.

Notes

[edit]
  • A Dimetrodon is not actually a dinosaur; they died off about 40 million years before the earliest dinosaurs arrived. They're actually more closely related to mammals than lizards. Not that the Dinobots as a concept have ever been strictly dinos-only, but still, worth pointing out.
  • Sludge and the other Dinobots had no "dimension" classification until an entry of the 2015 Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime assigned the 2003 Dinobots as Robots in Disguise (2001) characters.
