[edit]

A Saber hailed from Primax 905.22 Epsilon. Wielding an energo-sword and having the alternate mode of a nitrotiger, Saber was a skilled operative of Autobot General Obsidian during the time that the Ark spent in stasis on Earth. However, Saber's strong sense of honor occasionally clashed with Obsidian's pragmatic approach to war. Unicron decided that Saber's warrior talents would be useful in the Cauldron and abducted Saber from his home reality. Naturally, Saber refused to fight for sport in the name of the Chaos-Bringer and held out against Unicron's corrupting influence. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/15 When the Trailbreaker and Silverbolt of Primax 797.18 Epsilon engineered a mass jailbreak, Saber and countless others were able to escape. Escape Saber returned to his own universe, where he had many further adventures. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/15

Notes

[edit]
  • Saber is a fan character of Transformer artist Dan Khanna.
  • Dan Khanna tried to slip Saber into BotCon/OTFCC comics for years, but Glen Hallit threatened that if he ever did, he'd write his death into the next issue. Khanna apparently lucked out hiding him in amongst the big escape scene; Saber does not die in Universe #3.
  • Saber has not been visually depicted in alternate mode. To see what a nitrotiger looks like, see Stripes.
