[edit]Rotgut appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Rotgut was part of a marauding group of mutants who encountered the young Autobots Tailgate, Flattop, and Subsea in the Underworld when the trio foolishly decided to take the ancient Autobot "trial by fire". At Slayride's urging, Rotgut told the terrified cadets of their intention to murder them, and chased them through the subterranean tunnels. Rotgut was the only mutant to survive the destruction of Smeltdown, but he met his end soon enough when Tailgate tossed him into Smeltdown's flaming wreckage. Underworld!
