- The ghost of the future is an apparition from the Marvel UK portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The ghost of the future is an ominous spectral entity who warns of impending doom at Christmas.
Fiction
[edit]Marvel The Transformers comics
[edit]The ghost appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
After his visit from the ghost of the present, Dreadwind turned to the third ghost whose face was covered and asked him to reveal his identity. Pulling back his hood, the ghost revealed his face was that of Dreadwind, but hideously decomposed. He warned that this was to be Dreadwind's fate if he did not change his ways. Dreadwind's Xmas!
Notes
[edit]- The ghost of the future is an obvious reference to the Ghost of Christmas Future from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
